Erin and I went to see Sufjan Stevens perform a song cycle about the planets with Nico Muhly and Bryce Dessner at the Sydney Opera House last night. Sufjan claimed Mars doesn’t have an atmosphere.
OMG - I made exactly the same comment after the show! He spent more time researching Illinois than he did whole planets.
But I really enjoyed “Sufjan and Nico make shit up about space”. That could be a talk show.
