Hipster On The Shore
Hipster On The Shore is the awesome new tumblr, written by my husband. Personally, I think he is pretty great, but I will let you be the judge. (Warning: you will agree with me)
He’s finally owned up to who he is, and he’s started up a new blog about being a dirty hipster living in a distinctively non-hipster suburb of Sydney. Like many cities, Sydney boasts many slightly-dangerous-so-awesomely-gentrifying-bit-dirty-totally-cool-but-that’s-so-not-why-i-live-there-its-because-i-can-get-so-much-more-organic-produce neighbourhoods. Our simple flat, however, is located in a land of $3000 prams, manicured stay-at-home mums, and old money. How we ended up here, I’ll never know, because I certainly know nothing about $1000 sun dresses and what to do with the garden on the north facing courtyard.
With no decent local pubs, one wine bar within distance… We’re on a mission to explore and tell the world. Yes, you can be down with the kids, be so totally ironic, even if you live across the bridge.
